G. N. Sharma (Hindi: जी एन सिंह) was the second chief minister of the Delhi from 1955 to 1956 and was a Congress leader.[1] He was the successor of Chaudhary Brahm Prakash and assumed office in 1955 just for one year, after that Indian Government passed a bill in the parliament which made Delhi a Union Territory; due to which no one had appointed as the next chief minister of the Delhi until in January 1, 1993, when a central government passed a Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi act in parliament to provide Delhi special rights of partial statehood.[2]
